As of November 2020, Iranian nationals are eligible to apply for the D7 Visa, provided they can meet the mandatory visa requirements. It is, however, very difficult, as foreigners (and Iranians, in particular, are finding opening a Portuguese bank account more challenging in 2022.

Cyprus Citizenship By Investment Program (currently suspended) The Cyprus CBI was one of the few economic citizenship programs to accept applications from Iranian nationals, however it is currently suspended. Investments under this program were around €2.5 million.
Turkey Citizenship By Investment Program The Turkish CIP is currently still accepting Iranian applications. Contact us to express your interest. A minimum investment of $250,000 (real estate) is required.
Dominica Citizenship By Investment Program Dominica may consider applications from Iranian nationals, provided that they have lived and worked outside Iran for at least 10 years prior to the date of application. Applicants will be subjected to Enhanced Due Diligence screening, and may not have had a visa rejection from any EU country or the UK prior to application. Donations from $100,000 (single applicant) excluding fees.
Vanuatu Citizenship By Investment Program Iranian nationals can apply for Vanuatu economic citizenship and a passport in 2 months, subject to rigorous due diligence and the applicant having lived and worked outside Iran for at least 5 years prior to the date of application.
