You can apply for the D7 Visa via your nearest Portuguese consulate or embassy in your home country. Once your application has been approved, you’ll receive a temporary D7 entry visa and a date for your SEF appointment.

After this you’ll have to travel to Portugal for your SEF appointment, typically in either Porto or Lisbon. There you will be issued with your D7 residency permit, enabling you to move to Portugal.
